According to Wikipedia pancakes “is a flat cake, often thin, and round, prepared from a starch-based batter and cooked on a hot surface such as a griddle or frying pan.” Leaving aside that boring explanation we would like to define it with this tasty photos. Everyone loves pancakes, at least we like to think so.  We’ve looked around and what we think are not only delicious pancakes but deliciously documented pancakes.  Each picture brings a well published story of how to make delicious pancakes.  Enjoy

So if you look up pancakes on Wikipedia, it’ll say

A pancake is a flat cake, often thin, and round, prepared from a starch-based batter and cooked on a hot surface such as a griddle or frying pan.
