We found this Bubble Gum Art to be lots of fun. There are lots of things you think about when you go through these shots. First, it’ll make think twice to think where you throw that flavorless gum you been keeping in your mouth desperately in search of the nearest trashcan. Simon Decker lives and works in Germany and has a number of other works you can check out, but be sure to check out what he calls Chewing in Venice. (via imprecise)
The Antrepo group has started a very clever “redesign” of some of the most common brand packaging. They’re focusing on bringing minimalism approaches to change the way we look at things, and I must say… I love it. It shouldn’t surprise you much that they have a strong following of the late great Steve Jobs, but the clean and minimalistic redesign they created is really great. Check out the full gallery and their website. (via Antrepo)
Mayan Soffia is a self-taught artist from Los Angelas and we find her work to be just delightful. Here is a sample of some of her photos which are available for purchase from her Etsy store called Sixth and Main. And for you Modern Family fans out there… if you look closely you can find her there also. (via Photography Blogger)
Martin Cauchon is a Quebec based photographer. He has a wonderful portfolio with many different subjects. Ofcourse here at chaQula the subjects we care about is food. There are many things people will hang on their walls. Much can be considered art and other things not so much. Considering our love of food then naturally coffee art is no exception. Since making the coffee is a practiced art form it only makes sense that the photos of these beautiful cups of coffee would also be considered art, coffee art.
To those who throw their nose up at our coffee art then I challenge them to get through our list of photos below and not run as fast as possible to order their espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, cafe con leche, latte macchiatos or whatever it is they have the taste for. So we go in search of our favorite coffee art and to start off we begin right at home with our wonderful chaQula users to itch our scratch… or is it to scratch our itch? In any case, you can thank us later. Enjoy…
